Have you ever heard of Omega-3s? They are essential fatty acids that our body cannot produce on its own, but they are crucial for our well-being. You can find them in foods like fatty fish, flaxseeds, and walnuts, but sometimes it’s hard to get the right amount just through diet.

That’s why an Omega-3 supplement might be just what you need to improve your health.

One of the main reasons Omega-3s are so beloved is their positive impact on heart health. These fatty acids can reduce blood triglyceride levels, improve circulation, and lower blood pressure.

Various scientific studies have shown that regular Omega-3 intake can reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases such as heart attacks and strokes.

The National Association of Hospital Cardiologists (ANMCO) examined a study that began in October 1993 with a sample of 11,324 people affected by myocardial infarction, dividing them into four subgroups. After a follow-up that lasted more than 4 years, in December 1998, patients treated with Omega-3 showed a reduction in heart attacks, sudden death, strokes, and overall mortality compared to those who received no treatment.

These findings were able to confirm the hypotheses formulated by two major American studies: one conducted on volunteer doctors and the other on nearly 85,000 nurses, lasting 16 years and published in the prestigious Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). These studies suggested that Omega-3s are a category of essential fatty acids that are crucial for heart health.
